Client: Crawford & Sons
Design by Louis Cherry Architect and storefront fabricated in tandem by Tactile Workshop and Eidolon Designs. Tactile handled all steel structure and installation, while Eidolon fabricated and installed large entryway door of walnut solids and veneers. The walnut is plain slice, all heart, and carefully, consecutively grain-pattern matched. Door was installed complete with weather stripping, and replaceable brush on bottom – integrated with door locking system that was built into the floor. Finish is UV stable shellac undercoat and waterborne acrylic urethane fortified with UV absorbers and mildewcides.
